Time has been passing really fast lately. And I'm lovin' my holidays! =)))
Just hope it doesn't end so soon. Not looking forward to working life at all *sigh...

Btw, I just went for my job interview with the government and lucky me, I got a chinese dude as my interviewer. But unlucky for me, I got a chinese interviewer who couldn't stop lecturing me about being independent, don't depend on mummy daddy...bla bla bla....have to go far away from home to learn about life bla bla bla....learn about malaysia...bla bla bla....because you're ANAK MALAYSIA! Correct or not?! Correct or not?! ARE YOU?!

Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa

I still don't get why is it so famous. It tasted ok la. As usual. But it wasn't like, "Woah! That's like the BEST nasi lemak ever man!" as what I have heard from others.
Somemore I was so convinced when I overheard this little indian boy screaming into his mum's ears, "MUMMY! I LIKE THIS NASI LEMAK! MUUUMMMYY!! THIS NASI LEMAK NICEEE!" Then the mother sumbat the nasi lemak into his mouth then he shuddap.
That was before our nasi lemak came. How could I not be convinced right?

So there, finally, a picture of my newly curled hair...or rather, my newly notsocurlybutwavybutnotsowavyalso hair
Sigh. I've been getting a lot of comments that it isn't really curly as though it doesn't really makes a difference. =(
But I mmg didn't want it to be so curly. Or else, it'll be aunty-ish! So this is rather natural but erm, yeah kinda a little toooo natural. Oh well....watever.
At least I finally DID IT! even though nearly everyone protested! WAAHAHAH I'm proud of myself! ;P

Was even planning to colour my hair soon but looking at how uncurly it is, I think I better not la. Cause the lady was telling me that if I dye my hair, my curls will tone down a little. So ahem, if I colour it, my hair will probably transform to brown/red straight hair d wth.

...WHY SO MAFAN WAN?!!??!

Anyway, I've been eating non-stop, I'm even scaring myself. Have to tone down. Tone down woman! Tone down!
And since coming back from the UK, my wallet has been constantly empty. I feel so pooooor. Mummy, where's my allowance? =(

Have only been into a mall ONCE since I came back. ZOMG. So not impressed with the heels here. I miss Glasgowwww!! Give me back my Jane Normannnn! I want my New Look & Barratts backkkk!! Sobs. Other than that, aku kena belajar cakap bahasa melayu sebab aku ada temu bual dengan orang-orang kerajaan hari rabu ni. Babi betul la. Aku belum lagi belajar tentang isu-isu semasa negara. Nak pegi tandas pun takde masa, apatah lagi nak baca surat khabar. Bodohnya....
Tapi takut jugak. Nanti kena bom daripada mereka, habis aku.

*Phew!!

Finally all the europe, London, Scotland tours etc are finally over!!
It's been one heck of a tiring month!! But a good one, no doubt!

And I'll be graduating today!!! *jumps excitedly*
Jacqueline Lee, a pharmacy graduate and a soon to be pre-registered pharmacist! Yippeeeeeeeeeee!!!
But seriously, I don't feel that I'm even qualified to be a pre-reg yet wth
3 and a half years of studying shit that's not really related to hospital scenarios except for one subject, Pharmaceutical Care....there's definitely a high chance I might kill someone...*sigh
Worst yet, everyone will EXPECT us pharmacy graduate to have known every single thing a pharmacist should know already.
HELLO?!!! We learn from experience!! Not from books entirely! Cause I feel it's pretty useless...plus I've forgotten 90% of what I've stuffed into my brain during exam period!

So anyway, will be packing my stuff tmr...*could feel the massive headache coming up* and flying back home on wed! Yayyyyy!
Can't wait to see family, friends, my girls and the career man soon! LOL
On another note, I'm missing Glasgow already...*sigh
I miss JBC, the place we stayed previously, A LOT A LOT!!

Wah...I haven't gotten proper rest ever since my last paper like...less than 2 weeks ago.
Things have been crazy!! And I'm super exhausted now!
I can't even bring myself to watch a full movie without falling asleep in btw =(

Anyhuu, I won't be uploading any pics here cause I'm so sick of uploading any especially after stupid FB decided to have some problems with its uploader WHEN I was uploading a few albums at the same time. ARGH!
I ended up starring at the com screen for damn long and kept getting "upload failed" notice!
Irritating!

Okok chill.
So let's start from my England trip shall we? lol
It was a totally unplanned trip, as in we just booked the tickets and everything but we didn't really plan where we wanted to go or where to visit.
We were like damn chilling about the whole trip la...haha

So the day after exam, we were suppose to catch a flight to London at night because we had a tour which starts the following morning from London.
BUT we were dilly dally-ing the whole day as though we have all the time in the world and I even have time to go shopping for a while that we reached the airport pretty late although it wasn't past the check-in time yet.

At the airport, the place was so deserted except for this really LONG queue and it's the ONLY queue at the check-in counter. We saw our London Stansted signboard beside the Germany flight's signboard and so we asked ppl on the queue if that was the only queue for all flights. (I know la! Damn bimbo ok. That was like the stupidest thing to do ever! Sigh.)

We even met one of our batchmates there, Yieng, who was going to Germany and was queuing up on that line. So the 3 bimbos went to the very end of the line to queue and that was when we saw PECKHAMS!! Weee! What a perfect time! Cause we were just talking bout wanting to go peckhams soon. Bought a few cakes and peanut butter chocs and went back queing.

We looked at the time. Hmm..it's already 5 mins past the check-in time? This doesn't look right.
Jia went in front to check things out and she came back running and said that the London Stansted signboard is GONE!!!
I totally ran there and asked the counter fella and he said that I can no longer check-in and asked me to go over to another counter for help.
My heart and mind went blank for a sec man!
Ran to the other counter and kam ngam some spanish lady was in front of me and she also missed the check-in time and she was suppose to be on the same flight as us.
The stupid woman over the counter damn kao lan ci, kept saying that it's past the check-in time. Even if it's 1 min after check-in time, they won't allow us in. There's nothing she can do and we have missed the flight. Afterthat, she totally won't layan u d. It's like...CASE CLOSED. No negotiation.

3 of us just stood there with our mouths opened, mind blanked, not knowing what to do.
It dawned on us that if we don't get to London in time, we might have to forfeit the tour too, which cost a bomb.
The lan ci woman told us that we could catch the next flight but we have to pay another 100 pounds! Siao! Even so, we won't be in London in time for the tour. So that was out of the question.

In the end, I called Yew Jinn to check for any available train or bus to London asap.
It was nerve wrecking waiting for him to call me back. If there was no train or bus at that time, we're soo doomed. =(
Luckily, there was a bus available which reaches London an hour before our tour starts!!
But to get from Prestwick (the current airport we're in) to Glasgow bus station, it would take another hour or so and we were so paranoid that the tickets could be sold out by then.
So guess who was our hero of the day?
HAHA

Yew Jinn helped us to book the tickets online and RAN to the library (cause it was closing soon) to print the tickets for us and THANK GOD he has only ONE credit left in his printing card for it!! DAMN DRAMA I tell u!! *phew*

So yeah, we managed to joined the tour we booked. It was such a relief to hop into that tour bus and the first thing that came into our mind was, OMG....Yew Jinn has MADE THIS HAPPENED! Haha!!

Super drama! What an adventure man. Totally CHI KEK!
We were laughing like mad about it afterthat!! Laugh until stomach pain man! WAHAHHA
I can still remember our faces so clearly when we first got to know we missed the flight. Seriously we were in a state of SHOCK that we just couldn't think what to do next!
But it was a good experience in a way HAHA
We were pretty calm about the whole situation and no, we did not scream or cry or pull our hairs ok.

On that day tour from London, we visited Stonehedge (which u go like, hmm............that's it?), Bath (Beautiful! But I kinda expected a more scenic view. Maybe because I was comparing scotland & england and obviously scotland is much prettier) and Stratford-Upon-Avon (which I was quite disappointed of because it was just a small little town and not as scenic as I thought it would be. It's just known for being Shakespeare's birthplace)

That night, we stayed at my friend, Kim's place who was actually rushing to finish up her assignment haha! But we ended up talking anyway and it felt good meeting up after so long =)

We only had 3 hours of sleep before leaving to the airport for our flight to Newquay in Cornwall. The two other girls ar, sleeping happily in the minicab while I was forcing my eyes to stay open cause I was sitting in front and the driver doesn't even know how to go to Stansted and was depending on his GPS. We nearly made a wrong turning somemore! Luckily I saw the signboard and told him it wasn't that turning. Urgh. So it's true. GPS isn't exactly 100% reliable.

The airport in Newquay is like, the SMALLEST airport I've ever been man! Seriously!! It's FREAKING small! HAHA Damn cute. And when we went out of the airport, everywhere was just...GREEN....
There were farms and windmills everywhere!

We had to take a cab to St Ives where our B&B is, which is an hour away from the airport. AND THE STUPID CAB DRIVER CON US!! He charged us wayyy more than it should be and he gave us the reason that it was because that day happened to be a bank holiday (it's like their public hols la). We had no other options and we HAD to take a cab there. So aih...konon la he gave us "discount" somemore but it was actually still way overpriced. We only found out about this after the B&B lady told us that the driver was being "naughty" =(
But at least he was nice enough to make an effort to drive us right in front of our B&B's doorstep even though he was unsure of the way there. Hmm.

When we were reaching St Ives, OMG......all 3 of us were just shocked by the stunning view!!
It was like seeing a replica of Greece! HAHAHAHA Okla...obviously can't beat Greece la..but it was pretty similar! With all the buildings on the hill beside the sea...Gosh...it was just damn beautiful...*ahhhhhhhh
Too bad the weather was really cold that day and going to the beach was out of the question. So we just explored the town area and omgomgomgomg! There were so many pastry shops!!!! Heaven for meeeee!!!
I was oogling over all the pastries, wanting to try each and every one! LOL

The following day, the weather got better and it was finally SUNNY!! *yay!
Off to the beach!! Weeee!
But it was still quite cold la...cause the wind was still quite strong but too bad la...we nge nge wanna go also haha!

Overall, it was just an awesome trip la...
Even our B&B was just super duper lovely and both the husband and wife, owners of the B&B we stayed in were really nice friendly ppl =) Not to mention those CUTE little scottish terriers, Jessie and Alfie!!!! We miss them soo much!!
Now everywhere we go, whenever we see any dogs which resembles them, we'll scream Jessie! Or Alfieee!! LOL Damn bodoh haha

This is officially my last trip with my friends here =( But I'm glad that the trip turned out to be much better than we expected although there were lots of "adventures" in between Haha! But it was all good fun!! LOL

I'm gonna miss this life sooo much!!!

Ahhh~ It was 17 degrees outside this afternoon and the sun was shining ever so brightly =)
What a purrfect weather for a picnic!
The sun wasn't scorching hot like it is in M'sia, (Yes, I know..Practically everyone is complaining bout the weather back home) but there's still some cool breezes of air making it just nice!
The grasses were also sooo green and there's some cute lil flowers blooming here and there!

Thinking back, the sun reminded me so much of one of my fav places back home.

Yen's ex-roomie, Addie, came to visit from London and so we thought, hey! Let's go clubbing!

Initial plan was Karbon.
Took a taxi there cause it was raining and freaking cold plus I was wearing my killer heels. ;P

Sucky thing was....I was rushing like mad previously, I only brought my International Student ID and not the Uni Student ID and they won't accept it! Damn.

But hey, Addie didn't bring hers too ;p haha

A bunch of us decided to go to the West End of Glasgow for lunch and some walking around.
Heard there's lots to see and lots of nice cafes etc
But the stupid Glasgow weather, damn unpredictable...
The day before was so sunny summerish and nice, then that day was super duper winterish cold! SICKENING! Dahlah we weren't really prepared for the cold weather.
My hands were so numb, I couldn't zipped my coin pouch! Zzzz...

Ok, whining aside,
It was overall a damn fun day despite the weather!! Not to mention, a super fulfilling day too...for my tummy that is.

At first we were walking up and down the long stretch of street, finding for a nice restaurant to eat and chill but we just couldn't make up our mind until it was nearly 3pm. =.=
In the end, we ended up in Antipasti, an Italian restaurant.
I've been there before during Yen's birthday dinner back in our side of Glasgow. =)

They had a special priced Saturday lunch, 2 course for 10.95 pounds and each of us ordered a set. One thing sucky bout it was that they took SOOO long to serve!!
I also hungry until not hungry d.

Food AGAIN!
Seriously, I don't know since when and how did my blog became more like a foodblog?!
But all is gooooooddd..... =))

Wanted to go for the 2 for 1 main meals in Cafe Uno cause I've been hearing good reviews from other ppl, but mana tau, studentbeans offer has ended!!!! SICK!
And I baru saw the offer a few days before..ISHK

So had to resort to Wagamama instead.

The place is seriously PACKED with kwai lous I tell u....
Have to queue up for at least 10 mins!
Oh btw, forgot to mention, it's a Japanese restaurant.

The last chapter of my studying life is finally coming to an end.
Can't believe 16 years of schooling have just breezed through...
And not only that, I only have another 3 and a half months left in Glasgow. =(
I doubt I'll be coming back here again in this lifetime.
Probably I'll only drop by Glasgow when I'm old and rich and have nothing better else to do...and I'll bring my future husband, kids and grandkids too! HAHA

But seriously, this experience have changed me. Never knew I could be that independent. Really.

We made this before not too long ago. It's actually butter cake with tiramisu filling in btw and coated with choc =) Yummy!

This is soooo simple to make, it takes like, 2 mins?! Yet it's yummilicious! Would have been better if I used milk choc instead of dark ones tho.

Brunch in Willow Tea Rooms

I've been wanting to visit another teahouse after Tinderbox for so long!
I super *heart* teahouse wan lor!
It makes me feel so comfortable, relax and just somehow, contented. =)

This Willow Tea Rooms is actually inspired by Mackintosh. So everything from their chairs and tables are his designs.
Pretty artistic, really. But a bit chor teng if u know what I mean. It blocks your view everywhere u turn and look cause the back of the chairs were sooo high!

I never deviate from ordering hot chocolate if there's one in the menu. Like how I never fail to order teh peng in coffee shops back home. Nor how I will never resist ordering carbonara or pizza in Italian restaurants. =.=

Finally, it was the woman's birthday...my partner of sampatness. ;P

We went to Antipasti for a nice cosy dinner that very night. Food was ok...nothing to be bragged about tho. (my lasagna was a killer. I think it was for 2 ppl wan lor wth!)

We had problems camwhoring cause the lightings were so dim!! And my camera isnt uber enough!

Toilets are the best place to camwhore! Seriously man..HAHA!

Went to Soho for drinks later on when everyone simply got high...Actually it's more of self-induced high rather than alcohol-induced!

When I received an email saying that the home students organized a ScottishNight in O`Couture, I got pretty excited bout it!
They even wanted to give us a "surprise" outside our hostel building then walk us to O'Couture!
Mana tau, I didn't even see the surprise!
That got me thinking twice....the night might not be as good as it sounded to be ...Hmm...
When I finally went outside, then only I knew that the surprise was actually by one of our home students who played the bagpipes in his full scottish attire, kilts and all.
BUT....overall, there was only TWO of them there...like wth? TWO?!
And there wasn't even 30% of IMU ppl who went!
Sigh..this is SO not gonna turn out great...=/

In fact, it was pretty bad...yup...
They booked the whole room in O`Couture but there was no music to dance to!!
And when we requested some music from the bartender, he said we have to talk to the manager first WTH?!
Sigh....and since we're not the drinking and mingling kinda ppl, (we do "mingle" with our own friends like erm, let's see.... every single day?!), we decided to camwhore instead...
Like hardcorecamwhore! weee!

But I'm not gonna overload my blog with pictures this time. Too lazy.

Oh and as u can see, we weren't dressed very scottishly...=.=
I realised I don't have anything checkered nor tartan and not even a single bright blue! (Got also not so nice la ;P)

Sorry u didn't get a chance to watch an MU match when u were here bu! ;P

And though I'm not a football fan, but wth I was damn excited about it lor!!

When we reached Old Trafford, the place was already jammed packed with ppl! We even had to queue to get into the Mega Store! I bought an MU t-shirt for the autograph! Wanted to buy a football ball. But was thinking, I'll look like an idiot carrying a football everywhere, so.. yeah. A t-shirt will do.

The jakunified Huey Shean and I thought we were already late and we should go to our seats earlier. Climbed beribu-ribu stairs up to our area. Damn freaking high ok!! Feels like we'll never reach the top!
Mana tau when we finally reached there, the whole stadium was still empty =.= Babi.
Should have camwhored outside. Sigh.
Dahlah our seats were like sooooo far from the field, but aih, still ok la. Tolerable.

I seriously couldn't see their faces from my seat. I had to zoom my camera, then like..OHHHhhh....
Btw, their warming up exercise damn cute lor!! They were doing frog exercise la, jumping here and there, even looked like they were dancing! Should have taken a video of it!

Lucky for us, MU won (they better!) 2-1 against Blackburn.
And the match itself was damn chi kek cause it was 1-1 before that and Blackburn nearly scored a few times! There was once kena tiang somemore! Had palpitation throughout the whole match man.
And the guy near us was cursing and screaming like mad, I seriously thought he'll beat someone up d.

Oh btw, watching a match live is so different from watching it on tv cause
1. NO replays. Until now, I still don't know how Rooney scored, or why one of the goal was fouled.
2. Everything was moving damn fast, and with my super limited football knowledge, I was having a hard time catching up. Argh. (Where are u when I needed u to explain to me?!)
3. I didn't even know that the match started d until after 1 minute =.=
4. Feels quiet cause there's no commentator explaining to me what's going on.
5. All I hear is, Yellow T, Yellow T! So I asked Shean what they were cheering. And apparently it was United! United! =.= WTH?!
6. They were also singing other MU songs which was rather cute LOL Couldn't catch the lyrics though.
7. I felt damn semangat-bola! Time passed by so quickly! When I was watching it on tv, it felt like it'll never end!

So yeah, overall it was a good experience! The only sad part was, I only got 2 autographs =(
One from Berbatov and another from Evra.
Rooney didn't sign for me =(
Dahlah I had to fight with this sickening 6 feet tall father of 5 lil kids! Babi he damn sickening taktahanmaulempangmukadia. URGH.

Review: Recipe was good except that the temperature was wrong..AGAIN. And the cookies won't "inflate" no matter what temperature I use or how ever long I leave it in the oven. Nevertheless, it tastes heavenly! Soft in the inside with melted chocolate chunks...MmmmMm....

Oh btw, I haven't mention that Glasgow was snowing a few weeks ago! Just before CNY ended...
So we had a white chinese new year instead of a white christmas wth.

The snow was the thickest so far that day and practically everyone was superhyperexcited about it! 80% of my batchmates were out in the snow playing snow sliding, making snowman, having snowball fight etc.
Even the ang mohs were joining in the fun! Surprise, surprise, thought we were the only jakuns..apparently not. LOL

Ceilidh is actually a traditional Scottish dance. I wasn't too sure what it was or how was the event gonna be like. All I know was there'll be ppl dancing and they might teach u how to dance too!

What I didn't expect was, OMG IT WAS DAMN FUN LAAAARRR!!!
Everyone dances the same routine in twos or groups of eights and mind you, the dances are all FAST and super tiring!!
Damn regret wearing those heels =.= Damn it.

I miss doing this. Used to do it a lot in Friendster last time!

Here goes!

1. I LOVE Chuck Bass so much, I even bought a postcard which states "I LOVE BASS" wth, which actually doesn't stand for Chuck Bass, but who cares?! I love bass!! Only Chuck Bass though.

2. When I eat my meals, I tend to mix everything up and eat all in one mouthful. So there MUST be at least TWO things together with the rice on the spoon before I gobble it down.

3. I'm a damn slow eater. Refer to num 2 for reason. Another reason is I tend to talk a lot when I'm eating. Even with my mouth full.

4. I tend to stuff myself with foods all in one go and get so bloated in the end =.=

5. Dancing is my passion. Why didn't mummy make me join ballet or some other dancing class when I was young?!!

6. I nearly wanted to do a diploma in piano so I could be a piano teacher and earn big bucks. Instead of pharmacy. LOL

7. Oh! Make up is my passion too! If you could call that a passion. LOL I wanted to take up make up and facial classes too! ...but tak jadi in the end again. Aih.

8. I get high not from alcohol or drugs, but from really good LOUD music.

9. I was DAMN DARK when I was in primary & early secondary school. Everyone thought I was malay. No joke. Seriously dark.

10. I'm planning to curl and dye my hair when I get home. No more virgin hair =( I'll miss u a lot =(

11. I have a thing for guys with awesome built body. Not too muscular, not too scrawny. Just nice. Broad shoulders too! LOL

12. My oldest bro is 40 years old this year. Or was it 41? LOL Yes, he can be my dad.

Even though I'm in a foreign country whose ppl have not heard of CHINESE NEW YEAR, that doesn't mean that we don't celebrate it, ......MALAYSIAN STYLE!! =D

We had a BIG...I mean BIG open house during CNY and it's our first and hopefully last CNY away from home!!

Took me a while to finally decide to wear that cheongsam. Sick. I thought I was the only one who's gonna wear a long formal cheongsam AT HOME. Lucky not.

I have to give credit to my mum anyway, she made that cheongsam for me before I came to Glasgow =)

But I didn't have crunchy peanut butter at home and every night since then, I was craving for peanut butter like crazy...It was mad, man....

It's another big occasion.
It's another big occasion that I'm celebrating away from home.

It's the first time that I'm NOT celebrating cny with my family, NOT receiving ang paos, NOT going out shopping for red clothes with a hope of changing my wardrobe for the new year (yeah, right), NOT getting to munch on cny cookies every 3 hrs, NOT being able go house hopping with my friends (I miss u guys!!), NOT being able to irritate my friends to teach me how to play mahjong again cause I've forgotten everything, NOT being able to chor di and test my luck for the new year, NOT being able to ugut my bros so they'll give me bigger ang paos this year, and most of all, just NOT being able to be there with all my loved ones and enjoying the cny moments with them.

Depressing isnt it?

But on a lighter note, my batchmates and I are having a humongous CNY open house!!
All 117 of us! or was it 118? 114? Ah whateva.
The best part is that we're inviting the home students as well as some lecturers!
We're so gonna surprise them with the amount and variety of food man...
Hopefully things will go well on that day. I'm just not looking forward to the crowded-ness of roughly 150 ppl in our small puny houses. Seriously. Better to not think of it.

Time flies. Seriously.
It has been 6 months here in Glasgow and I'm already halfway through.
Another 6 months till I graduate, another 6 months till I pack and return to the place I miss a lot lot, HOME.
Another 6 months till I see you again, another 6 months till I finally get to do all the things that once felt so boring and dull, but finally cherishing it.
Another 6 months till my wonderful once in a lifetime experience comes to an end, another 6 months till I get to burn all my books. (YAY!!!)

Everyone has been talking about their new year resolutions and reflecting back on 2008. Come to think of it, I didn't even reflect back nor did I have any new year resolutions cause I don't believe in making them in the first place!

But it's true that there has been many ups and downs back in 2008, which is usual. I just hope that 2009 will bring more good memories and joy to all my loved ones and myself =)

Gorgeous gorgeous hyde park...damn freaking BIG too! Jog around half of the park, u'll get to lose 2kgs d. And btw, the ferris wheel is NOT London Eye ok. Tipu keling betul.

Our first proper meal in London! Deliciousness! And got kangkung!!! I miss miss kangkunggg!
Oh..and we just got to know that kangkung is actually called morning glory! Weird man...felt as though we were ordering purple flowers as vege.

Hustle bustle city

I love London! There's soooo many things to see, sooo many shops and everything is just sooo...alive! Public transport was awesome too..but considered quite ex lor. The lightings at night was also very pweettyy =) Ain't the huge snowman awesome??! There were sooo many along that stretch of road!

Avenue Q!

Our first musical! When I first heard that it was about puppets doing a musical, I wasn't very impressed. The poster even looked like some Sesame Street poster wth. But wah liow, when they started singing, everyone was rolling of the chair laughing man! There was lots of vulgarity and 18SX stuff but damn farny!! That was when we decided that we should watch another musical!! LOL

The view was amazing! The river was 1000X nicer than River Clyde! LOL ;P
And we were staying right beside London Eye! How awesome is that?! Haha!

I know this place mmg got nothing much to see wan lor. They even simpan-ed the guards behind the gates now so we won't be able to poke and buli them. And they weren't even wearing RED coats!! WTH?!!!

Happy New Year!!
We actually planned to watch the fireworks at the place where we stayed which was near London Eye, but mana tau when we came out from the restaurant, there were already beribu-ribu ppl walking on the streets and all the public transports were closed!!! Ahh!!
It was a disaster trying to walk towards London Eye when u have a big group of friends and there were MILLIONS of ppl walking on the road, you even have trouble trying to walk ahead of them cause it was sooooo packed like sardines and we only have limited time to midnight!! *sigh* You get the picture. And there were some drunkards too, which was damn sickening and annoying and scary at the same time. Halfway thru, we realised that they blocked the bridge so we couldn't cross the river to London Eye which was opposite the river. Aih. So we terpaksa berhempit with the crowd to watch the fireworks from opposite the river. Dahlah all the kwai lous so tall, I couldn't even see the fireworks. Have to see it from my camera when I hold it up. zzzzzzz

Madame Taussauds

This was another place with some really crazy queue!! If u're planning to go to Madame Taussauds, be prepared to wait for around an hour to go in. If u go in the afternoon, then I guess u would have to wait for AT LEAST 2 hours. Damn giler.
Then it's SO packed inside somemore. Can't take pictures with the wax figures properly cause someone would be posing with the figure on one side and u're on the other side. Wth right?
But it was still fun! Some of the wax figures don't really look like them in real life but some was ok. I did expected more Hollywood celebrities figures tho.

Wicked, our 2nd musical

We heard many many ppl said Wicked was really good and it's a MUST watch etc. Lucky for us, we manage to get a not-so-exp ticket BUT still ex la ok. The place itself is much bigger and more glamorous than Avenue Q's and even their stage and settings were much more impressive. The singing was also really good. But I guess it was way too good that it made all the guys fell asleep throughout the whole show. HAHA

I'm missing London already....
Can't wait to go back there again!

p/s: Thanks Alan, for being our tourguide and bringing us makan good food everyday! Damn lucky to be living in London man...

It was vyen's big big day. The big TWO ONE.

We went to Loon Fung for dinner the night before and I wasn't sure if she suspected any surprise or whatsoever (but I think u do! ;P)
But one thing she was totally caught by surprise....................Shaw Pei came to visit!!! Heheehhehe
We had to hide Shaw Pei from her the whole day. Poor Shaw Pei had to lock herself up in yen's room the whole day Haha
So I guess it was a double surprise! =)

It was 4 days before the actual Halloween day, but we still had a blast dressing up! At least we got the whole Kushion bar to ourselves and we actually had SPACE to camwhore!

All of us were a lil doubtful as to whether to dress up or not. Cause we weren't sure if many home students will be dressing up or not. But wth la, it's our FIRST halloween! And it's probably our LAST halloween too!! Okla..maybe not. Still can celebrate in M'sia right, just that ppl might say - Eh! tengok perempuan giler! Wth

We passed our flat inspection with flying colours!!! Weee!!
And it was our 1st inspection! *ngeks ngeks * ;P
Everything was soooo clean and tidy and SPOTLESS!
So proud of the 3 of us =))
Since our kitchen, which we took like freaking 2 days to clean (it's not that dirty la, but stupid inspector wants it to be spotless...so we have to scrub every single detail!) ,we didn't want to dirty the kitchen again.................

So....let's go out for dinner! Yay!

We went to the nearby Junction Bar, which we heard a lot about, but apparently that night, it was pretty empty. Maybe because it was a Monday night. But wth, I thought Glasgow ppl go to the bar every single day, afternoon, night, monday to sunday, christmas or new year?

That guitar boy came in a lil later to serenade us with his gorgeous soothing voiceee....ahhhh.....he was good....=))

I've heard many good stuff about their clubs here compared to M'sia's.

1. NO SMOKING in clubs

2. Don't need to wash hair for 5 times and spend hours in the toilet after coming home, dead tired. (Refer num.1)

So anyway, a big bunch of us girls decided to go Bamboo, the club. And if I'm not mistaken, there was more than 20 of us!! Gosh...it definitely looked a lil weird. A big group of dressed up asian girls walking around midnight to ONE particular club. And wow, it HAD to RAIN when we were about to leave our place. So in the end, we had to walk in HEELS, under colourful umbrellas, getting all wet in our nice clothes =(

TAK glamour langsung...shessh....

What makes matter worst, they realised that we were in such a BIG group that they only allowed like half of us to enter!! Wth?!! Discrimination wei!! How can they do that?! So mean!! Sigh...So we had to split up and they went to another club in the end...

These are the bunch of us who managed to get in.

At first, the songs that they played was like..zzzzzzz........

But as the night progressed, things started to get heaten up and so did the songs =)

We had a blast dancing around though more and more ppl started coming in and the girl behind me was dancing so violently, her butt kept banging into mine and her hands was flinging here and there...Like ARGHH!!! HELLO?!!

Then there was a point when we were dancing in a circle and this WEIRDO started to come REALLY near to one of our girls. And he wasnt even dancing. Just standing there staring at us with his rapist face and kept coming closer and closer. Babi, I felt like slapping him! Then he would go from one girl to another, hoping to get our attention. When one failed, he went to another. Wth?!! What a weirdo...tak tahan aku.

But other than that, that night was awesome! Can't wait for the next outing! Yay!

p/s: Those who are interested to go to a glamorous masquerade party ala Gossip Girl's in London's BEST club, pls tell me asap. =)

Hence, I just got my gym membership today. WEE! =D
Need to get rid of all the flabbiness and TONED up!
But since working out using the machines is soooo boring...(but can kap macho leng chais flexing their muscles)
I've decided to join classes instead!
It's FUN FUN FUN! Plus I get to dance! Yay! =)

HAHAHAHA Sorry la...I know I haven't been blogging lately..don't rush me!
Not my fault!
First, ct was here, then afterthat, mummy and aunt came to visit me.
Then they "pao" my computer to watch moonlight resonance, so I can't even go online for a week! Wth
Dahlah I got nothing better else to do, I have to teman them watch the show for the second time! From episode 1 to 40 ok!
I can practically rmb each scene and all their expressions -_-"

Oh and I realised, I came to UK not only to learn how to be a pharmacist, I also learned how to be a good housewife. Mmhmm!
I learned how to cook, changed by hobby from shopping for clothes to shopping for groceries, changed my fav shop from H&M etc to Sainsbury supermarket, and start watching chinese series and get addicted to it. Wth right?

Ahh..and I've FINALLY uploaded ALL the pics from my Europe trip in facebooK!!! Weee!! Took me ages!! Gosh...
I didn't have time to edit the pics also. Don't care la! Got few thousands pics, edit until siow!

Hmm...and another random thought. I realised that I've been buying lots of cutesy things for my room and lots of ahem..other stuff. How the hell am I suppose to bring it back to m'sia????!

Autumn is nearing d...err..or I think it's already autumn. Haha! Some of the trees are turning yellowish, orangy-ish and redish..but most of the trees are still , GREEN! so how the hell do I know whether is it autumn la?! Tak macam autumn pun....
The weather here is really weird.
It's cold as though it's already winter, some of the trees are turning colour like autumn but some are still green and today it's sunny like summer.
???Wth?

I miss malaysia's weather at times, even though the sun can be damn freaking hot and ppl will be having BOs and pity ppl like me with the wrong height.
Come to think of it, I really miss just about everything in m'sia. The food, the comfort of home, my CAR!! And most of all, my family, ct and friends *sobs*

To my girls back home, don't worry =) You girls will eventually work out the problem together and damn it la...I MISS YOU GIRLS!!!!

Sorry la...Have been missing in action for soooo long!
Ct was here with me in Glasgow for 3 weeks and throughout his whole visit, I didn't have time to blog and all..
Must make full use of his time here ma right? ;P

And about my Europe trip, it was AWESOME!!!
Love Austria the best! MUST VISIT SALZBURG!!

Paris was ok la. Eiffel Tower and Disneyland were the highlights of it. Other than that, I find the place ok nia. Bloody expensive though!

Venice was also very beautiful!! A MUST visit too!

I haven't been able to compile all the pics YET. So make me no mood to blog bout it d...WAAHAHHA

Going to Edinburgh was a super last minute decision that we made. But it was just for a day trip.

The bus ride was about an hour long but mind u, the bus here are wayyyyy more comfortable than the buses back home! It's so clean and EFFICIENT and nice.

Anyway, Edinburgh was having an Art Festival and that was the main reason why we went to Edinburgh in the 1st place. The place that we went was near the famous Edinburgh castle and it was jammed packed with ppl!!

There were humans EVERYwhere and everything was so lively and happy! I was loving every second!

Below are all the magnificent buildings. Damn nice lor.... and thank God the weather was purrfect that day =)

I just learned sth new that day. Hmm..ok, I think some of u might have heard of this la but wth, it's sth new to me. =)

When there's a statue of a person on a horse, and if one of the horse's leg is up, that means that the person died due to illness. But if both legs are up, that means he died in a war. And if both legs are down, that means he died a natural death.

oOooO....so that means this fella on the horse died due to some illness la. Interesting....

All the buildings looked the same, I know. But u'll still go like...Oooooo....AhhhhHH....No doubt.

There were also ppl dressing up in costumes while giving out leaflets, promoting their show for that night. And it was interesting to see how these ppl used their 'creativity' to attract others to take their leaflets.

1.Boobies. Always works.

2. Asians. Kwai lous are always curious about us.

3. Human statue - give him some coins and he'll move for u. As u can see, I obviously did not give him any.

4. Desperate Scots.

8. Pweetty lady in the most extravagant dress I have ever seen. And it's actually beautiful!

9. This was really a good show. Both of these gymnast were damn fantastic!! They were also good in entertaining the crowd! And believe it or not, the guy STOOD on the GIRL's shoulders!! And she was bloody scrawny! OMG

10. My personal fav. The headless dude.

Ahh...beautiful place, merry environment, happy people, great weather, lovely company....but sucky painful feet. *sobs

It has been a long long week for me...with exams going on and lots of drama in between.

Nevertheless, things are getting better...or so I hope it is -_-"

I'm too lazy to blog bout each and every drama in detail...

but basically, what irked me was that I had to shift out of my comfy homey room to another block which seems to be at the other end of the world...all cause of some stupid water tank which HAD to burst just a few days before our finals!

*sigh

okla..I know I'm exaggerating bout the distance but really, it's so freaking far!!

Then I heard news about Daniel Teoh, my ex-bpharm batchmate, who was also my orientation group leader, had past away from a car crash on the way back from penang to kl...

*sigh

Although we weren't really close, but still...it affected me.

No doubt about that.

Death scares me.

And it just keeps reminding me of how life is so fragile and that anything could happen to any of us.

It's scary. But I know there's no point worrying or thinking of why it happened and so on.

Life's like this and we just have to accept it

After my final paper, when I thought that things were getting better, I HAD to receive another bad news...a horrible one in fact.

Our baby tarantula, Oreo .......had died.....

That's Oreo from down under. Look at his fangs. So macho..haha. Don't u go all 'eeyeeee' on him ok!!

These are all Oreo's mould. Look how much he has grown *sobs

He was so tiny when I just bought him...smaller than an ant!!

Then he grew up to be a big macho boy...and now he's gone =*(

He did not even reach his max size.....*sniff sniff =(

OH MY GOD, the mystery of my early christmas parcel was finally resolved!

Ok u see, every parcel will be sent to the village office(VO) of the uni, then they'll track our exact address or sth like that.
Apparently, the name on the box was LEE SHING
and unfortunately, another girl in my batch is called Lee HUI Shing

After the horrible, stupid, *argghhh!* giler babi FMT 1 paper, I decided to give myself a shopping therapy after being abstinent from it for such a long time...

Loch Lomond

Last Sat, a bunch of us went to Loch Lomond (it's on the outskirts of Glasgow) to watch the Scottish Highland Games.

Initially, I thought we'll be going to sit there and watch macho leng chai guys playing sports da whole day...
But it turned out that it was more of a funfair than a sports day!

This looks like fun.........if u could even try to balance a log 10 times your weight and throw it as far as u can

We even saw cute lil scottish girls dancing their tradisional scottish dance!
I realised they don't smile when they're dancing...either they're not suppose to, or all of them tengah kan chiong cause it was a competition..haha
