My view

I have always liked the view from my window.

Can see the grassy area, can see the main road if there's a parade, can see the far view on the left since we're pretty high up, can see ppl going in and out of the uni, can see my batchmates carrying grocery shopping bags and huffing and puffing up the stairs, can see where they went shopping from the bags that they're carrying,

and can even see peeing parties by MANY MANY kwai lous. I even saw one who kept "flicking" it. URGH...

To all my dearest seniors...

Congrats upon graduation!!!!

Loving the Isle of Bute

It was another trip organised by Jim Wilson, a guy who's in charge of international students.

The good thing is, he would plan trips to somewhere every weekend and to pubs every wednesday then send us a mail about the details.

So if we're interested to go, then just go la...

The bad thing is, I heard his planning kinda suck after the Victoria Park visit.

Anyhow, we still decided to go along with the latest visit to Mount Stuart in the Isle of Bute last weekend.

And no regrets there!!!

We took a train from the Central Station to the pier.

The train station was surprisingly so cantik! And a nice place to camwhore! Too bad we didn't have enough time. =(

We didn't expect so many ppl to go! If I'm not mistaken, there were about 40 over ppl from our batch who joined this trip!

By this time, my hands were practically frozen. It was so numb, I couldn't feel anything! Haha

And my hair was flying everywhere and it felt as though the wind was pulling my hair out of my scalp!! Serious!

See! I can't even balance myself! HAHA!

Upon reaching the Isle of Bute

Mount Stuart is actually a pretty big place. And we have to walk through the woodlands in order to get to the famous Victorian house, or rather a mansion.


This part of the woodlands damn stinky lor!! Like cow dung smell! Somemore the ground was muddy and soft, like stepping on.........cow dung...-_-"

And alas, we reached the Victorian house. From the outside, it doesn't look very grand. But inside, ohmygod....DAMN BEAUTIFUL lor!!

We were not allowed to take pictures inside the house, and I can't seem to silent my camera. So no pictures..=(

After the tour in the house, it was time to PICNIC!!!!

After we've done camwhoring, I mean, picnic-ing, we went jalan-jalan around the area...

I love the Isle of Bute!! It's so peaceful! And the ppl there are so friendly!
Makes me feel like migrating to an island like this and lead a more peaceful, slow and stress-free life!

How I wish....

Dinner time!

The last time we were walking around Buchanan, we spotted this restaurant called Lauder's. If I'm not mistaken, it's on Sauchiehall Street.
Seriously, I still don't know what are all the streets called lor...
If it's not for Li Ping who kept on mentioning about it, I wouldn't even know such street existed...lol
Not to mention I have a really BAD sense of direction...*sigh*


So anyway, we surveyed the price...and it was pretty reasonable.
We thought, yes, we should go try try one day!!
And alas, after a day of grocery shopping one day, we were just too lazy to go back and cook dinner..
Hence, Lauder's!!

We were SUPER hungry that day I tell u! Literally felt our stomach acids digesting the walls...




This is Lauder's, a nice cosy place to hang out and chill...
Except for the sickening air-con which was blowing at our direction! Isn't it suppose to be a heater instead of an air-con?! Wth?

When we saw the menu, OHMYGOD....

"I want this one! Eh, no, this one looks better. ....Eh, but this one also nice leh...WAhhhh...this one looks GOOD!" And it goes on and on and on...

Oh ya! And I love this apple and mango juice called J20! Nice! And it's in a beer bottle!

Seriously, this meal was my most satisfying one so far!! =)))

Or prolly it was because I was too hungry....haha

But generally, the food was good la. And we *heart* the menu! All the dishes sounds good!

Oh..and another good thing about this place is, u can curi some sauces home somemore..HAHA! Got Heinz ketchup, mustard, salad, tartar and hp sauce. Choose your pick. ;P

By the time we finished our dinner, it was already 9pm but the sky won't be dark till it's 10pm. So we thought it would be a good idea to walk to River Clyde, though we're not so sure where is it. Damn brave lor..haha

So we walked and walked and walked....

And we REACHED the river!! *yay!*

BUT eh? Where's the beautiful bridge? I remembered there was a really nice bridge on this river, and it's definitely NOT this red penang bridge lookalike.

There was a map somewhere, indicating the location of the bridge, but problem is, there was glasgow bridge, victoria bridge and another dunnocallwhat bridge. So which bridge is it???

*sigh* Damn bodoh lor...Wanna go see bridge but don't know what is it called. Plus there's NOT near each other. -_-"

Whatever la!! Just camwhore la!!
