My first and last IMU prom night

My first post!! WEEE!!!!

IMU Ball.

I finally decided on the dress that I would wear to the ball after asking millions of ppl's opinions.
The old yet colourful Ausmat PROM DRESS *sweats*

Yeah, I know I know.....Where got ppl wear the SAME OLD prom dress TWICE one?!!
But no choice la. I had to wear sth formal and grander than usual.

THANKFULLY, I made the right choice! The Ball was grand!!!
Luckily I didn't wear anything more casual than that...LOL
Doesn't really bother me that I'm wearing an old dress no more ;P

I even went to curl my hair rather than setting it all up like how I did in Ausmat.
Was pretty worried to curl it though. I never seen myself in curly hair before. And this would be the very FIRST time that I would be doing sth that would damage my hair!
Like losing my hair's virginity for the first time! wth.

It turned out to be pretty nice actually. Hehehe =D

She made it really curly for me cause she said my hair won't be able to stay curly for long. Plus, she had to use the small curler rather than the big one so that it'll look more curly. =(

I wanted it to look more Jessica Alba-ish and not tai tai/datin-ish!
Check out the tattoo on her arm btw. Like woah...LOL



Oh well, luckily the curls did tone down a little after a few hours and it looked so much better =)
Btw, I, erm, I mean my mum, paid RM40 for it, which I thought was pretty reasonable!
Cause she was really really "sai sam" when she was setting my hair for me.
And she was really good at it!
I would definitely go back there again.

Ok. Now, for the drama part.
(I'll spare u guys from all the small details. If not, it'll be super long..LOL)

The ball was held in Parkroyal located near Sungai Wang area.
It was suppose to start at 6.30pm.
Ct became my driver of the day since he wasn't coming to the ball with me due to "it's not my thing" reason and "u think I very rich ar?" reason.
Luckily he came to my Ausmat prom before...so it's not so bad =)

We left at 5.45pm, thinking that it was a Saturday, and there shouldn't be much jam along the way.
How stupid of us.
We got stuck in SO MANY freaking jams for
2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt so stressed that time ok!! Dahlah my curls seemed to be straightening already!!
And due to some miscommunication with Jean's bf, we thought that Parkroyal's main entrance was closed so we didn't turn in. But actually it wasn't closed damn it!!!!!!
So we had to get stuck in another jam.

ARGH!

Fine....we made one big round....got stuck for another 20 mins.....
And then....................
ct made a wrong turning.......
*sweats*

Stuck for another god knows how long.
*sigh*

That time, ct also felt damn stressed d, cause the cars weren't moving AT ALL!!! It's so crazy!!
So he did the most unpredictable.

He parked his car at a dodgy lorong which we still have to pay some indian fella (wth right?), and we took the umbrella (it was raining), and walked all the way to Parkroyal!

Imagine this.

A girl wearing a long nice gown, heavy make up, high heels, styled hair.....walking with a guy, wearing some cacat t-shirt, shorts and slippers, holding an umbrella for the girl....and both of them were walking under the rain, past the crowded famous Bukit Bintang road and everybody was staring at them.

LOL

It was the most romantic thing ever man. Ain't it? LOL

What an elegant way to be transported to my ball. HAHAHAHA

I reached the hotel with my feet totally soaked cause I had to step into all the puddle of water *sigh*

But it was funny and romantic in a way...hahahah! *Love u bu!*

They were messaging and calling me non-stop until I damn stressed. Ahahahah I thought I'll never make it to the ball.
Luckily all I missed was the phototaking/mingling around session.
Although I did told them we'll have to compensate for all the camwhoring that I missed later on. LOL

OMG I nearly forgot to mention!

Another unexpected thing happened!

I won a lucky draw!!!

How cool is that man...LOL
I didn't even know that there was a lucky draw. And I didn't even bother to listen to them announcing the lucky winner.
It took me a while to realised that they called out my number! Haha!
Worst part was that I was busily biting on some chicken meat when they announced my number! I was sure there was some sisa chicken stuck in between my teeth. Sheesshh.

Luckily u can't see it in the picture Haha! Ok ok.

I know u must be screaming, "what is it?! what is it?!" by now. LOL

There were 2 ball pens from University of Nottingham which I think they took it for free and just packed it up nicely so it'll looked more high-class *pffrrrtt*

And the other thing in the bag was something I, or rather, ct wants a lot a lot a lot.
5 vouchers of RM10 from Chili's!!! That's RM50 dude!!

Guess my night wasn't that bad either =)

Ok. Now for some randomness. (Ooo..I love randomness! ;P)

Same torquoise dresses, same silver clutches, same curly hair, same nail polish colour, same bra, and I wonder if they're wearing the same kind of panties?
