Penang oh penang...

I was back in Penang again with ct's family except ct's sis who couldn't make it that weekend. (U should've come!)

It was suppose to be a short 2-day-makan-trip, but sadly, we don't really know where are all the good and famous foods... sigh

Our first stop was at Swatow Lane.

And the first thing I noticed was....

Ohhkayyyy.....

Anyway, I remembered their yam cake was DA BOMB! And it still is!
*Yum!* =)

Too bad the other foods there were kinda sucky....

Then at night, we went to eat seafood at this old "food court" beside the beach.

I just love the environment there....windy, cooling, soothing wave sounds, beautiful scenery....ahhhh.....

And that was also when I learned about balitong.

U need skills to eat this ok...

Practice makes perfect.

I think ppl like it cause it's rather challenging to suck the thing out, and when u managed it, it's the satisfaction that keeps u wanting more...LOL

My new hobby

After having my fav very berry strawberry in Baskin Robbins one night, I went back home just to find a box of lego-like toys of my nephew's on the floor.

I don't usually play lego when I was young. I only remember Barbie dolls...haha! I have like millions of Barbies man...what colour hair also got...

But I was bored that night, so I thought, hey, maybe I should give it a try...looks interesting ma...so colourful...lol

Oohh...looks confusing....???

Bloody hell, it was confusing!!!
Ct and I sat down on the floor trying to assemble this idiotic Ialsodunnowhatisitcalled
Ct said, "The fitting sucks...must be some cheap stuff, unlike Lego which usually fits perfectly."
Then he went to watch tv instead....

I sat down there, slowly analysing the instruction paper, which was damn stupid cause everything was sooo tiny, I can't even differentiate some of the parts!
Ct kept saying, "Aiyah, give up la...come watch tv..."

I got damn a lot of things to say as many things happened.
But I'm super duper "boh eng" (busy) these few days la. Or rather, these few weeks.

Heck, this is my 3rd post of the day ok!
But the most interesting one, I would say.

Today, my mission was to find my purrfect glasses.
Went searching for it high and low, but all the frames I saw was sooo.....plain.....and boring.....and common......Plus, the opticians were soooooo unfriendly.
Dahlah I was in such a bad mood today, so their unfriendliness seemed to have a magnified effect. =/

I ended up going all the way to Bangsar to this particular optical shop where ct bought me my first *heart* sunglasses. =)
I rmb the opticians there were VERY efficient and super duper friendly.
U just need to sit down, and they'll find u your dream glasses even if it'll takes hours.
Plus they have like millions of choices compared to those usual optical shops!!

The place look more like a coffee shop than an optical shop.

Ppl kept coming in!! And it's not even during a weekend!!

I was looking for sth different from my current glasses (black metal frame)
Waiting for the moment when I'll feel, "OHMYGOD...This is it."

So I tried many funky glasses,

Err...cannot la. Too funky. I can't pull it off..lol

Saw many weird and funny looking glasses too.

For ppl whose eyes are far apart, I think.

Eh? Is it upside down??

She's one great hell of a friend, always there for me whether I need her, or not! She's always there! *huggies!*


Most of all, she's the only reason that I did not regret taking BPharm in the first place. (No offense, BPharmers ;P)

Moral of the story is....

1. That's life. Get over it. =)

2. Go to the gym 3 hours EVERYday with a personal trainer, hire a nutritionist and get a good plastic surgeon.

All of us are different in our own ways, but when we get together, the differences just,.. disappear...

Yes, we do have our fair share of fighting and screaming, and there were even a few misunderstandings, but I'm so glad that we managed to get through those times.

Although some of us are in other states or overseas, I'm so happy we still manage to keep in touch really well.
